Fabuleux
Fabuleaux is an exciting new stallion for the US Hanoverian mare base. Owned by Dr. Barbara Schmidt, Bridlewood Farm, KY, Fabuleaux is by the versatile sire Fabriano out of SPS Auguste (Augustinus xx / Absatz). SPS Auguste is the queen of her owner's farm in Germany. Their web site is well worth a visit. From their front page navigate to the English version and then read about Fabuleaux's illustrious mother line and of Fabuleaux's four full siblings.
Fabuleaux stands 16.3 hands. At his testing in Adelheidsdorf he made a score of 130 plus points in the dressage portion, with scores of 9 for walk, trot, temperament, willingness to work and a 10 for his canter.
His sire Fabriano is well respected as a sire of excellent riding horses, with many licensed sons, SPS daughters and highly priced auction horses. He won his testing in 1990, also winning the Jumping portion of the testing and coming 4th of 36 in dressage. His breeding indexes are very strong as well as versatile with dressage and jumping indexes in the well above average range.
We bred Fabuleaux to SPS Blanche A for a 2005 foal. We were rewarded with the lovely bay filly Fabulessa, who sold at the age of three weeks. Tragically, we lost that filly July 8th to an unknown central nervous system trauma. Rubizza was been bred to Fabuleux for a May 2007 foal and the result is Fantastica — a keeper of a filly.
