Stedinger, a 2000 stallion by the great Sandro Hit out of a Landadel mother, is making a name for himself as a sire after a single foal crop. He was the absolute winner of the 2002 Oldenburg Stallion Days. He is large framed, with an impressive overall appearance and high elasticity. Stedinger also possesses excellent jumping ability.

His sire Sandro Hit was federal champion six-year old dressage horse in 1999 and world champion of the young horses in Arnheim. In the meantime, he has become one of the most sought after contemporary sires in the world. The dam, Verband premium mare Bold-Fantasy scored an excellent mare performance test with a free jumping score of 10.00, a guest rider score of 9.0 and an overall score of 8.67. She is a full-sister of the approved Lamar H, who is himself a successful dressage sports horse. The maternal bloodline is directly linked to all the greats of Oldenburg breeding history through Landadel, Futuro and Adonis xx. The Oldenburg foundation line of the mare Besinda also produced the approved full-brothers Andrew (successes up to Grand Prix) and Armagnac, as well as the multiple advanced dressage sports winner and approval champion Waldsee. This bloodline also produced Tansanid, who won the the silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games. The grandam gave birth to many successful showjumpers, dressage horses and cross-country eventing horses.

Stedinger has in only two seasons become known for extremely elegant, dark coated foals with fabulous movement. We chose him for our beautiful mare Wintermaske in 2005. The result of that breeing is the elegant bay filly Soliloquy, born April 14, 2006. After being bred back, Wintermaske produced Scorpio, a stunning black Stedinger colt in May 2007. I bred EM Wolkenstanza to Segovia for a 2011 ET foal and was rewarded with the outstanding colt Segovia.
